Not really happy with them cutting parts out. Couldn't they just have made the time slot 1/2 hour longer?

They did....
It's a 2 hour movie, and they alloted 2 & 1/2 hours for it. They just ran a LOT of commercials.

I did think there were too many commercials, I'm thinking the 4-5 minutes of movie they cut out could have been rethought by making it a 3 hour time slot instead.

I caught it on Thursday the 12th.
It still gets better with time.
Except for the cut parts.
I'd like to see the full DVD version, with deleted scenes added. Like River handcuffed screaming "Everybody's gonna die!" Creepifyin.
Adds to the continuity.
