Interesting how you dropped the critical qualifying phrase when quoting me. That's "...the left/liberals on this forum", not a sweeping generalization. I do the tire pressure thing & get engine tune-ups like most Americans do. The offshore thing is NOT being done because Dems continue to block it. So one is being done, and one is not. See the difference? Also, why does Obama assume people don't already do these things? Another one of his Wright-inspired hate-America beliefs perhaps? Is Farrakhan-adoring Obama assuming that Americans don't take care of their cars? Is it because we're too busy clinging to our Bibles and our guns? Is his next energy plan going to be to tell us to only run our air conditioners half as long at half the coolness intensity? Or only use the stove on alternate days? Limit the # of toilet flushes per household too? How about cold showers? He's just chock full of surprises.

I would not want to talk to Hillary at 3am for advice. We've seen her in the daytime...do you really want to risk talking to her when she's sleepy and irritable.
If its 3am and I have to call somebody and I could only pick one person in the whole country to get advice from on this particular issue...it'd be either Condi or John McCain. Both know the players, the region, the terrain, the time and distance factors, the military capabilities, and the economic and political interests of all the interested parties to a Russia-Georgia conflict. Condi is the technical expert, McCain is the guy with more hands on "I know them, I've been there" experiance. Best case is we elect McCain and give him a phone line to Condi.

Yes yes, seems like Johnny boy's foreign policy advisor was a lobbyist from Georgia. So maybe you're right and McCain is an expert on Georgia after all. But in this case, something tells me he wouldn't be very impartial. And therefore, not qualified!

Well not really...but...to be honest over the last year or so I've developed a bit of an infatuation with her. Have you ever hated something so much for a long time and then had it all turned around? I think it's just deep admiration for the strength and determination of this woman. During the Primaries I used to think about all those lonely nights for her in hotel rooms, waking up alone, and maybe thinking to herself what the fuck am I doing? She would go out every day, all made up and looking good and fight the good fight. I found that highly admirable, and I find now that I like her more and more.
