G'day al you like minded fans. I am acually new
to this whole computer thing, as I have never owned a computer before, have been draged by freinds who keep at me because they can't email me. I Got into Firefly when I saw the movie, and after came across the box set one day, and though that look familier. Am a fan an regulary
watch throgh the set and movie. Only just discoverd this whole new world on line so still
getting used to it and blundering my way around,
find it intreeging that a show as good as firefly
had such a short run when quite frankly they keep utter #@$% on the TV. Anyway hoping to meed some fellow fans as I don't know of any wher I live.

Welcome to the shiniest place in this "verse AussieFan!

For a bit more Joss goodness watch "Dr. Horrible" at www.drhorrible.com. It's a web only, 40 minute musical trip in 3 parts starring Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Horrible, Nathan Fillion as Captain Hammer and Felicia Day as Penny.

It'll only be up until Sunday at midnight. After that, you'll have to get it from iTunes or wait for the DVD.

Lots of other Firely/Serenity things to get involved in around here too.

Welcome Aussiefan! Like you, I found the 'verse by seeing the movie first - cannot believe it is gone; interesting that a show pulls such strong emotions after so many years! I hope you enjoy it here as much as I have - glad you're aboard.

We love to meet new fans... there is a LOT going on,
you would think that things are boring because Firefly/Serenity is long over...
but there are comics
and Joss is making new shows (Doctor Horrible and Dollhouse)
and our fandom has meet ups and events all over the world.
