"The Iranian Revolutionary Guard will destroy you with our new secret weapon, PHOTOSHOP."
Didja hear about that one? Iran tested a bunch of missiles the other day during some war games. Supposedly as a defensive measure against the USA and the Zionist entity, aka Israel. They put up a picture on the internet showing 4 missile launching at once.
Unfortunately, somebody found, and put up, a copy of the original photo, which shows 3 missiles launching, while one sits in the middle, a dud for some reason.
You can look at the pictures side by side, and see, even if you're a pretty much amateur, where they pasted bits of 2 launches over the center to cover up the dud and make it look like 4.
Embarassingly incompetent.

Yeah, saw that, and once I saw that there were actually only 3 missiles, I was 25% less scared.

Hello,
Iran could have launched ten missiles. Or a hundred. It doesn't really matter. There is no question about their military inferiority.
However, what do we expect them to do?
We placed them on the Axis of Evil and won't stop spinning the wheel.
Israel runs drills that perfectly simulate an attack on Iran, and the U.S. runs commentary on it, "Yes, Bob, that's exactly the same distance from Israel as Iran. Lookie like someone gonna whup some ass!"
Iran is left with two choices:
1) Empty Posturing,
or
2) Hand out the vaseline and bend over.
We know from experience that countries in this region of the world don't like to appear weak and impotent, even when they are. Hence we get the empty posturing: Doctored photos of failed missile tests.
I only pray that the U.S. is also posturing emptily, because I'm not interested in a war with Iran. If Israel wants to enjoy some pre-emptive warfare, I think they should have the full portion to themselves. Our Nation's pockets just aren't deep enough for another pre-emptive war, and my heart isn't in it at all.

Quote:You mean launch their entire stockpile at once? Surely even Iran couldn't be that stupid... or could it?

Iran is loving every second of life these days. They are newsmakers, they control the news of the day, whether it's firing missiles, threatening to destroy Israel, or holding Holocaust denial conferences. Achmi-etc. is on TV more now than Britney. He's a big part of your gas bill every week. Iran reminds me of Al Capone's Chicago mob. Defy conventionality, stand up to the status quo, re-invent the rules. Some will say the lesson is Capone died in prison. Law & sanity prevailed, but remember Capone didn't have nukes.

Yes, Iran IS a big part of our gas bill - which is the number one reason WHY we don't need to start yet another useless war. Tell me, how do you suppose we'd get along without that Iranian oil, and how much would gas prices jump if that amount of oil were removed from our supply?
Also, who ELSE does Ahmedinijad remind you of? Defies conventionality, reinvents the rules, etc. Sound like anyone we know?
