Happens more often than that.

I seem to be remember him doing it quite often. In fact, that's the only thing I'm sure everybody knows about him. He's flip-flopped on the issues so often that I have no idea where he stands on them this week, but his POW experience is the one thing that absolutely everybody knows about.

And I heard the interview, so don't try to spin it for what it wasn't.
Obviously you haven't, otherwise you'd know what Clark actually said.

Unless you admit to deliberately misrepresenting what he said ...? Surely not! Not you, AURaptor, never ever, nuh-UH!

Last one first...I heard exactly what Gen Weasel said, and your take on it is simply wrong. It's you who deliberately misrepresenting what he said.

McCain has been a public figure for well over 20 yrs, so , over that time span, the issue of him being held as a POW will come up a few times, but hardly EVER because of him. Same goes for his alleged flip flops. Folks can change position, over time, but does that make it always a flip flop? No. That term is too often used by folks who want to tarnish a politician. True flip floppers, like Kerry , deserve the tag. McCain does not.

It is not those who use the term "Islamo-Fascism" who are sullying the name of Islam; it is the Islamo-Fascists. - Dennis Prager

LOL LOL LOL LOL PMSL!!!

As far as I know, this was the first major television ad by his presidential campaign. This is how he wants to be seen by the nation:

You need to also pay attention to his speeches. In so many speeches of his, there's a reference to his Vietnam experiences, or his experiences as a POW, or how much he sacrificed in his service for his country. Sometimes subtle, sometimes blatant, but almost always there to remind the voters that he's a war hero and he's been through a lot, so they should vote for him.

That's a classic, AURaptor!

Some flip flops are also included in here:

and here:

Something from 2006, to show that flip-flopping isn't entirely new:

http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/fortune_archive/2006/11/13/8393
132/index.htm

Loads more, but actually, it's a simple Google search, try it yourself! It's fun!

Edit to add:

There's also a master list: http://www.bi30.org/wordpress/flipflopper.htm

Tell me, how was Kerry a flip-flopper and how was that completely different from McCain flip-flopping?

For somebody who tells it as often as he does, strange that he can't stick to the same story.
