Well, I have a place that you guys can start MULTIPLE Firefly games, each in their own threads.

Feel free to join in, start a thread, and have a blast.

You can even use pictures for the characters, although you have to host it offsite.

it's a new forum I just started for anyone who wants to play anything they want, and everyone here has been really cool, so you guys are welcome to join up and play there :)

I actually belong to a yahoo group for Firefly RP (I play Inara, which is why I use her for an AV here).

I think since we're already in this forum it'd be easier to just start something here as opposed to trying to join up in another whole website. If things take off and get bigger than this thread can handle, we can shop around for a new place.

..WASH's MOVE SUPPLEMENTAL

Hmm.. Still kinda boring. Nothing out there but stars. We're not gonna get to Persephone for several hours, probably late morning, ship time. I'm all alone in the bridge. I think everyone else is asleep. No one to bug me, or sneak up behind me and scare me. The cortex waves were boring. Nothing new.

Think I'll play with my dinosaurs...

why dont you join the FFSPT? You're already familiar with it and we're always looking for new members.

Granted that what we do isnt move-based, we've been trying to style it more like a show. We have plots, or "episodes" and scenes within each that can be played together and some after-the-fact personal postings. We all try to make them well written.

As far as the characters go, the only way to find out if your desired one is already cast or not is to inquire.

BlueHoot: Well for one thing, Wash is already taken at the sock puppet thing but not here. Also, this is just for tonight just for fun to see how it goes. If it expands beyond that that's great but otherwise we're just experimenting and having fun..

Teela: Just be cryptic and perplexing in your speech and manner and you got her down. Don't worry about doing something wrong cuz we're making up the rules as we go along. Kinda like Calvin Ball.

Wash doesn't see River cuz he's just picked up his two toy dinosaurs and is grimmacing and growling as one dinosaur bites at the neck of the other one.

MAL'S TURN:(lying in bunk) Still ruminatin' about Patience tryin' to outdo me. Gettin'to be ya can't make an honest living out of crime these days! That damn Jayne. One of these days real soon i'm going to have to deal with him. Oh well, Wash has set a course for persephone, should be there in the morning. Got a feeling like there might be a job waitin' for us there. (Drifts into a troubled sleep, dreams of home, family)

..WASH'S MOVE

Wash nearly jumps out of his own skin. The dinosaurs fly up in the air and he slips out of the chair to the floor and crawls under the desk.

Beat. Wash looks back and sees River

"Oh!." Wash laughs nervously, "Hi River. I didn't see it was you. Couldn't sleep?" Wash remains under the console and is holding the chair between himself and her. He still appears afraid.

Wash also speaks in a forced whisper so as not to wake the crew, even though they could pretty much scream on the bridge and people in the crew quarters wouldn't hear. Unless of course Wash had accidently turned on an intercom.

By the way, in his shock Wash accidently turned on the intercom to Malcolm's bunk. So Malcolm is now hearing the conversation on the bridge from his room. This happened by sheer accident of course. The others on the ship are still sleeping peacefully but Malcolm's been rudely awoken by a girlie scream and Wash's nervously saying hi to River.

Mal: (wakes up, pisses on hands, etc.) Climbs out of cabin, intending to head for bridge to check on ETA for Persephone. On the way, I bump into River. I say: "mornin' River, how's every little thing with you? Feelin' up to a little shore leave are ya? We're due to touch down on Persephone in a few!"
