I also found it odd that the video wants us to predict the situation in 2013. We might bring all the troops home tomorrow and have good reason to redeploy them in the future. Who knows what will be going on in 2013?

Even Ron Paul, my favored candidate, doesn't know what the future holds.

I'll say this, though... if Paul had troops in Iraq in 2013, it would be because of a declared war.

So, is this video anti-troop as well? That's the part that pisses me off the most. The creator asks if people are angry yet and flashes a picture of a US soldier. Because, you know, that makes sense. The creator of this video would support them then, wouldn't he? That's the part about that video that just pissed me off something royal.
When a person enlists, they understand that they may be asked to go somewhere they don't want to, that some of them will be mandated to go if needed, so don't be angry at them because they're doing what they're told. It's their job, they understood the risk when they took the oath, as did the Minutemen, as did all of those who fought in all of the wars we've been involved in.
I'm not denying that sometimes a leader may not always make the best choices, but before you call him an idiot, consider who elected him back to office. Peace isn't always cheap; look at how many countries we've paid NOT to go to war with each other. And I'm not saying I support war by saying that innocent people ALWAYS get caught in the crossfire no matter how hard one tries to avoid it; it's terrible, it's very very sad, and it makes me cry sometimes. But the news never shows you the good things that are happening over there, the good pictures that have been taken of our troops with families, children, and others over there who are happy we came, of troops praying together to get through the day.
