Just got back from the first day. This is the first chance I've had all week to mention that I'm even going. This is also the first time I've been physically able to go to an actual con (after living in Middle-of-Nowhere, Canada, and Ottawa, which has about as much tolerance for wacky fun as the bridge of an Alliance Cruiser). The cosplayers, the trivia contests, the panels, the sheer geekiness in the air --it's like coming home.

Saw a Jayne shirt among all the pretties, but didn't have any coin on me at the time. I'll snag some swag tomorrow or Sunday.

The high point for me was watching Jango Fett nearly go plumetting down an escalator (fortunately [though not so much for either of them], a 501st Stormtrooper broke his fall). No peripheral vision in those things.

Any other Browncoats in the area?
