Oh sweetie! I am full of sympathy! I have another week to go but am just full of terror and black depression at the thought. Hope you find your zen (and if you have any to spare can you send it my way?!)

For those of you looking for your zen:
There were once two monks walking back to their monastery in meditative silence but along their path the way was blocked by a river that although muddy, was crossable. When they came upon the river they discovered a beautiful young woman trying to find a way to cross that would not get mud on her brand new clothes. One of the monks, without saying a word, picked up the woman and carried her across the river before setting her down on the other side where she continued her journey in her unmarked clothes. The monks continued their journey in meditative silence until they had nearly reached their monastery when the second monk turned to the first, ‘I’m sorry to disturb you but I cannot let this rest. You know that our vows forbids us from having contact with women and yet you carried that young woman across the river.’
The first monk paused before replying, ‘That is true but while I put down the woman at the river, you carry her still’.

Magda actually missed her connecting flight because she was held up in LA. She made it to Atlanta earlier than she was supposed to (though later than I thought) because they put her on a direct flight for her trouble. She is alive, well, and giddier than any school girl I've ever known

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

That's good to know, tell her I said "Yo".
I have a headache and I'm soooooooooooooooooooo bored.
I was supposed to play poker tonight, but at the last minute everyone cancelled. :(

Sorry your not well Zero.
I'm in a completely pants mood and what's worse, I'm not even sure why! Part of it is that I ordered the last Dresden Files book a week ago (asked for special delivery) and have been disappointed every day when it didn't arrive and now it won't get here before I go back to work.
Still, not sure why I'm so restless, can't settle to anything. Sigh!!

WANT!!

I'm feeling most unzen at present. Can't sleep, can't concentrate, being shouted at for being useless and that's puuting me in an even worse mood. It's like a spiral of cr@pness. How do I climb out of the toilet bowl of my bad mood?
