HUGS Joe sweety...hang in there darlin:) I hate to say this and I know you're all completely serious when you say " It's not you I don't trust it's them"...somehow it just feels like you don't trust us...likely because women are less trusting and if we're questioning or stepping in it's 'cause we don't trust the person...

mornin' Imponderables.

I don't have much to add to the present discussion, other than I am glad that you didn't do anything to get you into any legal trouble. That'd be the last thing you need right now. Good that you guys are able to communicate about it, though, and I have confidence that all will be as it should in the end.

Generalizing or not, I think women are WAAAAAYYY more territorial than men. We deal with the threat and it's over. Unless it happens again, where we must reinforce the unlearned lesson. Women will carry the grudge to the grave, no hope of redemption. Also, unless we are sociopathic, we will only use necessary force; women will ferociously dive for either the jugular or at the least disfigurement.

I'm not upset with MisterG if he does it...as long as it doesn't get out of hand and a warning has been offered first. I don't have any issue with this...I realize this is somewhat oppositional to the feminist point of view...but that's just me...I am perfectly capable of smacking the crap out of a guy who gets too close etc...

I rearranged you paragraph a little to point out that it doesn't really sound anti-feminist. At least by the newer definitions. You choose not to kick ass. The anti-feminist attitude would be to expect the man to do it. Which is really a form of man-hating, isn't it?

A double-edged sword with serations. Beware and be wary. The cloaked phrase here is "Who cares about anyone else's trustworthiness, if you trust me? What can they do if I don't let them? If they do something against my will, it's not a matter of trust at all."

HUGS Jonny:) See I hold no grudges ever and have no sense of territory ...once again I fail to fit the mold..oh well. I would agree about the holding grudges, but women are less likely to feel threatened when another woman smiles at their guy and such. That's what I meant by territorial. They don't perceive a threat with all interactions just ones in which the woman is acting suspicious or using certain tactics...Most men I know perceive any man interacting with their woman as a violation of their territory

Oh I'm sorry you're not sleeping well...that's icky. I hope the sleep people can help.

Not me. I hold grudges like they've got some sort of crazy return on investment. I'll hold grudges for years and years waiting for a good time for revenge. OK so I guess I'm kinda evil, but whatever just don't cross me and you're fine.

Maybe women are different out west. We got too much of the Gangsta mentality around here maybe...I dunno. But dem bitches dun git to riled in no time for any attention whatevah. (really bad countrified "Urban" or unbanized country; the sticks of Metro, what can I say.)'Course round here we're more apt to break out the box cutters than resort to subterfuge.

The sleep is good, it's the staying awake part that don't work so good. Which of course means the sleep part ain't workin' so good.

*bursts in like a bolt from the blue*

Hey all

On territory... I'm pretty laid back. Don't mind my fella looking at other women, don't mind a little harmless flirting and don't even mind if he goes to a strip club for a bachelor party or something. As long as he treats me with respect, I'm happy.

If he cheats on me, however, I'm leaving. And I'm taking any pieces of anatomy I consider to be my property with me.

Kidding. But I don't tolerate cheating in a boyfriend. At all. Not even a drunken didn't realise what I was doing it was nothing kind of cheating. Cheat and I leave. And I expect the guy to have the same attitude towards me.

*edit* Oh, for those I've described my lower back tattoo to, I recently found the exact same pattern while browsing the net.

Mine's shaded in to give it sort of a 3d effect, but that's the same shape and pattern as mine Roughly the same size too, I think...

I approve of all of that. I think you should stop teaching computery stuff and start teaching women that there men should be free to go to strip clubs. Go and lead the revolution!
