1) Was she the best Buffy that could be? Could another actress have done it better?
SMG was Buffy, no question. Buffy The Movie was a different animal, and so Kristy Swanson was OK as the somewhat clueless Buffy on the big screen. Of course, I loved the take Joss created in the TV version. Somehow, I think, it was the version he really wanted all along.
But without a doubt Sarah is Buffy.
2} Was she always there on Buffy- ie, never phoning in a perfomance?
Yes. I would say that she got better as time went on and both she and Joss got more comfortable with Buffy.
3) What was her best moment on the show, acting-wise?
For me it was when she died. I watched it on Hulu recently and, even though I knew she lives on, I was caught up in the moment.
4) Was she hot, IYO? Hottest on the show?
Yes, please! As for part 2 of the question: It was between Willow and Cordelia. Hamada, Hamada!

5) Have you watched Scooby Doo 1 & 2 just because she was in them?
Well, gorram it, for 1 yeah. Never knew there was a 2. Loved the fact that her and Freddie were in 1.

Could another have done 'better' ? No. Done well ? Done a believable and likable job ? Sure.
I think her character, w/ all she had to deal w/, may have appeared that she might have 'phoned it in', at some point, but I can't say if that's how it was written or if it was simply SMG.
Best moment? The Stabby motion she made in 'Hush'.
She stood out among a cast of pretty people.
Have I watched Scooby Doo? Why else would I watch those movies ? Well not JUST her, Linda Cardellini, too.
