Just something I thought I'd share. Great idea but it'll never get passed.

I think that voting on a bill they haven't read would constitute gross criminal negligence on their behalf and should be prosecuted as such.

And such admission should invalidate any vote cast by one on a bill in that case.

Of course, that would mean hell to pay over the Patriot Act, wouldn't it - by not reading them, the bastards can then deny responsibility, but that doesn't fly for the reason stated above.

"But I didn't know!" should NEVER be an excuse for them, ever.

Oh, yeah, and when we peons don't do the job, we don't get paid, so neither should they when they don't do theirs.
