You have to admit though. Peter Parker is no woof. Although alas, he too loves another.

There is one simple reason that DCU characters will always beat Marvel characters. The DC universe is Lovecraftian.

Arkham Asylum, references to elder gods....chthulu trumps mutants, hands down.

Now, why would anyone think that putting a villain into Arkham would make the better?

I don't think DC characters would beat *all* Marvel characters. Batman might win against Spider-Man, but he'd have a hell of a fight on his hands with Punisher. Yes, Batman would plan about a dozen moves in advance yada yada yada, but Punisher gets the job done. He does not allow the job *not* to be done. If he wants to beat someone, he beats 'em.

I really need to stop now. Really.

Never been called articulate before.

Now as far as the Punisher goes. See Batman would just do his pounce attack on him and then where would the Punisher be? Not able to pull out his guns he would be up a creek w/o a paddle.

On the note of Superheros: Is anyone planning on seeing Ghost Rider? I just can't wrap my mind around Nick Cage as John Blaze. Just don't seem right!

I love that I have managed to degenerate this conversation into a total comic book geek o rama:)

Mav- that is true friendship:) HUGS

Hey I've had a massive crush on Wolverine for years...he's the hottest ( and I mean the actual comic book character , not Hugh Jackman)

Ok now I'm really going to have to ponder DTH...hmm Batman v the Punisher??

My brother had spiderman bed clothes.

Anyway, how much do you think it would cost to have my blonde head removed. I am having such a blonde day. It took my entire class 40 minutes to realise there was a sign on the door saying our seminar had been cancelled. And I lost my hat.

Hobbleit - You can't blame the seminar thing on being blonde. The entire class was there. Blame it on following the Group.

As far as the hat.... Well we can't be perfect all the time. Sometimes life distracts us from paying attention to our hats!

MSG - Wolverine is cool. But I gotta say that Gambit is the man!

Punisher V Batman - Punisher would be down in like 3 minutes once Batman broke his bottle of Wild Turkey! Punisher would be crying like a baby!

I feel like an unworthy geek, having very little to contribute to this conversation. Um, Batman is totally the man? I like quite a few others, though (I'm really honestly looking forward to the new Spiderman movie. Venom!)
I need my qing ren on these things. He is the geek! (I am the geekling. And I am okay with that)

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
