A dukhang is the monks' (lamas') congregation hall/main prayer hall in a Tibetan Buddhist monastery (lamasery). Note the Buddhist statue in the ruins with Mal, Zoe, and Tracey.

That's my supposition. I could understand naming a planet after an important temple or vice versa, but naming a planet after the term for a type of building within a temple (in this case a monastery) seems unlikely.

I'm sure there were many battles on various planets. Remember that there was also the Battle of Serenity (valley), not the Battle of Hera (planet).
