Basically...because of some stingy bastards who cannot be arsed to buy the real copy..the future of any more Firefly/Serenity is in jeapordy.

Fair enuf, im no angel, i downloaded The Unit but mainly because i didnt know what it was like and that i dont have the channel it is shown on here in the UK.

However, in the case of Firefly or serenity it is in my opinion, inexcusable and should be stopped. We allw ant Firefy back and by doing silly things like this you are making that less and less of a possibility...im not impressed.

P.S: still cool that Serenity was first to be hacked :)

I wouldn't worry too much about it Snakebloke. In order to download Serenity in HD at 25 GB on my connection (which is a 6MB/sec connection) it would probably take me a month or two. Anyone who is willing to wait that long to watch it probably wasn't ever going to buy it in the first place. When you think about it, it's much easier and quicker to just borrow a friends DVD and copy it. There's not really that much difference between DVD and HDDVD and BluRay unless you have a 400 inch TV or larger. Otherwise, any copies you get online of the show or BDH are of much lower quality than even DVD's which aren't HD.

I downloaded all of them and then I ended up buying the DVD's to get the full quality and the special features. The only other show I've ever done this for is Arrested Development.

I seem to have an affinity for programs that FOX likes to cancel prematurely.
