There used to be one or two, usually students running to a local shop after a heavy night out... now there are loads! Is this unique to Dublin? Are we the pijama zombie capital of the world?
I've seen it in the states. And I'm in full support. Cute girls in pajamas. There's nothing wrong with that in the grocery store.

DTH - It's not specific to the emerald isle.
I've seen grown women wear their fuzzy slippers out like real shoes. Not just the daffy old ladies either, but otherwise nicely dressed women out for the day.

She rings like a bell through the night, and wouldn't you love to love her ? Takes to the sky like a bird in flight and who will be her lover ? All your life you've never seen a woman taken by the sky.Would you stay if she promised you heaven ? Would you even try ? -Stevie Nicks

LOL Desktop I almost choked that was amazing:)
Mavoureen- This explains so many things. Like how some of those laws get passed, etc...wow so hmmm I'm a whore( good to know) As I own , at least count 6 pairs of red shoes.
As for the wearing of PJ's in public...My mother would shoot me dead if I did that. So I have no first hand experience, but our school has had to include to pajamas as part of our dress code because so may kids( mostly girls) keep coming to school in them. The weird thing is they are clean and worn as part of an outfit, not an "I didn't have time to get dressed" thing.

MsG you have done a fine job of keeping me and my work friend entertained with your outfit descriptions. Though I must said neither of us ever had teachers who dressed like that growing up.

So really then, aside from the health hazard and the humiliation, you didn't have an issue with the brown...
Did your top come clean?
Mav - Is my revving disturbing you? It's bothering the heck out of me...:

Dressy stuff or the casual silly clothes( depending on mood and amount of time I have to get ready in the morning.) So I'll describe yesterday's outfit. Black tights, knee high black leather boots with a 4 inch heel, red and black plaid skirt that comes to about 3 inches above the knee, fitted black turtleneck sweater, and my usual make-up ( which includes red lipstick)and dangle earrings, celtic necklace, and lots of rings ( mostly celtic designs)

So... how old was Dorothy again?
Lemme get this straight. DC is the capital of OZ? Does that mean we get Canberra?

Zeek Glad I could give you a laugh:) Everyone keeps saying none of their teachers ever dressed like this. I looked around at my other faculty memebers. I shall describe a few
Bruce( my best friend) starched shirt, bow tie, neatly pressed khakis, and spiked hair( currently streaked with pink)
Stephanie ( science teacher) last count 16 earrings, a belly piercing and 4 tattoos. Wearing a Led Zepplin sweatshirt and black leather pants.
Marnii( another science teacher) Pippi Longstockingesque tights ( red and white striped) a vaguely 50's style red and blue dress, and platform high tops
Dan ( history teacher) I'm guessing there's a tie in to his curriculum, but today he is decked out in full mountain man regalia ...yesterday he was George Washington though so who knows??
Now see, I don't dress all that oddly in comparison...LOL
