I'm guessing the "hot goth chick" is how I usually dress because I only ever wear two types of clothes. Dressy stuff or the casual silly clothes( depending on mood and amount of time I have to get ready in the morning.) So I'll describe yesterday's outfit. Black tights, knee high black leather boots with a 4 inch heel, red and black plaid skirt that comes to about 3 inches above the knee, fitted black turtleneck sweater, and my usual make-up ( which includes red lipstick)and dangle earrings, celtic necklace, and lots of rings ( mostly celtic designs)
Mavoureen- you are kidding...do they know what century this is?? Have they looked in any corporate office in America lately( and speaking of, do they know they're in America ...land of free choice)

I teach adults so I get away with a bit more. I keep it casual though, except for formal/corporate type training. I find it tends to put people at their ease.
Right now I'm wearing a cream jumper and chocolate coloured jeans. Nothing to do with yesterday's incident! Browns look good on me. When they're the original colour of the clothes anyway.
EDIT: On the "wear what you'd wear to worship" thing, I'm neopagan. So we worship in anything from robes to casual clothes to wearing nothing but a smile. So workwise... may not be such a good move. Plus it's cold here.

But they all wear jeans and t-shirts every day .Some even look like they are still wearing their pajamas.

That's another imponderable - pijama zombies! People who wander around in their pijamas... in public!!! As in deciding they can't be bothered getting dressed to go to the local supermarket. There used to be one or two, usually students running to a local shop after a heavy night out... now there are loads! Is this unique to Dublin? Are we the pijama zombie capital of the world?
