I read in the latest issue of the Buffy magazine that Joss has pretty much said there won't be any further tv or movie incarnations of the Buffyverse. There are still the Buffy season 8 comics though, so that's a plus.

It sort of makes you wonder what if The Spike Movie had happened, what would the story be like? Also, Spike died in seasons 7 of BtVS, so the movie\'s story would have had to be before season 7. I suspect that it would have been a big challenge for writers to come up with a good story for this.

Spike was ressurected in season 5 of Angel. He spent the first half of the season as a ghost and then they found a way to make him coporial again cause he was starting to fade away.

Oh my!
I only watched season one and two of Angel, and after watching all of BtVS I decided that there was no point of continuing to watch Angel. I had no idea Spike made a come back. Well, I shall certainly make it my business to continue watching the remainder of the Angel seasons.

River, there is a great ep in season 4, #6 Spin The Bottle. It reminds me of Tabula Rasa, where a spell goes wrong, everyone returns to their teenage persona. It's a hoot! Plus Gina Torres is in later eps, those were great, too.

The Spin the Bottle episode was in conjunction with Tabula Rasa, I do believe. Hi-larious, that. My fav Angle one would have to be Smile Time though, Spike absolutely got beat by a puppet Angel. None other, none other.

On the topic... I am not hopeful of a Spike movie, though I have heard it discussed or whatnot. I would love to see Ripper, but not to hopeful of that, either. It's true that Joss is basically done with the Buffyverse. Hopefully he will continue with the Firefly 'verse.

BENDIS: Why isn’t that going to happen?

WHEDON: I think money is standing in the way. What is ever in the way? What ever makes anything happen or not happen?
