Why do college campuses sell about 100 times more parking permits than they have actual spaces for? Do they find it funny to make already-stressed undergrads that much more agitated by tricking them into entering Parking Purgatory? Or are they just that greedy?

Why are there people out there who think that the poor are lazy and deserving of their status? Why are there people in the world devoid of compassion? I know that there's a cycle of violence and abuse - but, where did it start? Is there a way to prevent this cycle from continuing? Is it feasible? Will people stop being self-centered long enough to actually implement a solution?
