Nothing against blondes mind you (being one myself), just prefer brunettes more.

I have been forming mental pictures of everyone slowly. I have tried to avoid any pictures when possible until I have them mentally pictured. Just to see how close I can get.

I like to create a mental image first. Off personality and conversation pieces and such. I like to meet the real people before I see them for real.
