If you're having trouble with the getting-into-orbit aspect, do it the simple way: hover until you get to about 150km up and then thrust forward until the orbit MFD (Press SELECT at the bottom of the little computer screen square thing in the cockpit and then press Orbit) shows a big circle with another circle (or oval, depending on what direction you're facing). The circle should have a filled-in dot and an open circle on it, and these should both be on the OUTSIDE of the gray circle (that's the Earth's atmosphere.
Now, I know that looks complicated, but as long as you can get those two circles (filled and open) on the outside of the gray/white circle, you should be okay.
Or, just fly between Habana, Cuba and the Cape. Habana is the only other spaceport included by default. Make sure you go high enough to not burn up in the atmosphere.

The main link (to the Orbiter downloads page) isn't working for. Also, any chance there's a Mac version? I dislike emulation, though I can do it.

Yes the link doesn't seem to be working,just tried google too,same thing.I tried following a link on a different site,does the same thing,so at the moment I can't tell why it won't load up the site.I can't find any info on ORBITER saying there is a MAC version,probably cause it's not a game it's a realistic space simulator & it's not super well-known partly due it being not in shops & it's free.
