The two things I was refering two are..

The spoke windows on the roof, the one nearest too us in that picture should be nearer the back and right up against the series of rearward facing windows, the one on the other side should be further out where the one we can see is.

Also the solar panels near the cockpit, they should be on the other side.

You might be right about the window, but the solar panel near the cockpit is on the right (starboard) side, as shown in all of the images on this thread. I just went back and looked at all of the screen grabs I have of Serenity and there are no panels on the left (port) side.

Also, in aircraft and ship navigation, the port light is red and starboard light is green, and this matches the image as well. So, only the window position is debatable, otherwise, it looks like the images are not reversed.

SIMON: What happens if they board us?
ZOE: If they take the ship, they'll rape us to death, eat our flesh, and sew our skins into their clothing
and if we're very very lucky, they'll do it in that order.

Zoic Studios is also doing effects for the Sci Fi Channel's re-make of Battlestar Galactica, which will air this December. Preliminary visual effects are said to be very impressive.

Inara LIVES in one of those? It just don't make no sense.

Well.. Inara's shuttle is just one room and a cockpit (which is really the same room seperated by a curtain). In Out of Gas, Inara and Mal walk around the whole shuttle without any acutraments... the interior can't be more than thirty feet long.
The cockpit is larger however. It's like inara's shuttle in size, but it has the large space in front of the control panels that is like an extra twenty feet (no idea what this is used for) and then the head goes all the way back to where the stairs hit the floor outside of the cockpit.

It does make general sense when you think about it. sorta... anyway.

I have to agree that to me the images do not look like they're mirrored.

As far as the windows are concerned, I think that they just created two slighly different styles of Serenity and mixed it up a bit. If you look at Zoic's website, you will be able to find a version of Serenity that is more streamlined and has a bit different window placement than that huge wallpaper posted in this thread.

For a bit of random information relating to the FFSPT, I have taken the more streamlined version and named it Belle and am considering her an Aught Four. But this is just for the Sock Puppet Theatre purposes cause its fun!
