That's pretty cool. I always wanted to see a "complete" view of the ship. Also would be neat to see a blueprint of the interior of the ship to get the layout.

One cool thing about this, if you are as geeky as me, is that this is another Lightwave show. Lightwave is a 3D computer graphics package, and its easy to use. It originally came with the Video Toaster, but they have since spawned it off as its own product.
I met one of the creators of Lightwave, a very shy man, who has an Emmy on his mantel. (Technical Emmy, but still a beautiful large statue)
For a while I was trying to get a job as a 3D artist. But the art stuff kinda eluded me. You can give a chimp the best paint set in the world and he will still paint like a chimp.

Holy Hannah!
What magazine does this come from? I need to get a hold of a copy.

And may I just say for the record I have no idea how this ship's interior is supposed to be laid out? I mean... Look at the windows on the nose of the ship. Are those the windows Wash and everyone looks out of in the cockpit? Now look at the shuttle on the side and compare that to the nose section. See how tiny it is comparatively? Inara LIVES in one of those? It just don't make no sense.

You make a great point Cap. That shuttle is tiny. I think we are gonna have to go with suspension of disbelief on this one. Unless Wulf brings his Tardis Broom in to help explain.
You're welcome on my boat. God ain't.

I like the downloadable wallpapers of Serenity from the fox site - these are very high resolution and give you some idea of what we might see in the movie. Below is the smallest wallpaper - the big one is really nice.

----------------
SIMON: What happens if they board us?
ZOE: If they take the ship, they'll rape us to death, eat our flesh, and sew our skins into their clothing
and if we're very very lucky, they'll do it in that order.

You will notice in the wallpaper, that Serenity has been mirrored, and in fact should be flying to the left.
There are two fairly big clues to this, but then I have been studing the ship closely the last few days, so I'll see if anyone else can spot them.
As for the size of the ship, the engine compartment looks huge on the outside, yet inside the same yellow sections show up and translucent panels on the inside too, and the engine room doesnt look that big, unless they have REALLY thick walls.

I don't get it. The green light is supposed to be on the starboard side, and the red light to port, as shown.

But that has to be the problem then. Port is the left when standing on the deck and facing the fore (front) of a ship and starboard is the right. I don't know the convention for red and green lights, but we can't assume anything about the rotation of the planet. Shuttle one (Inara's) is supposed to be on the starboard side, can you tell them apart?
