i completely agree with you about not being hungry after a workout. i make myself eat a protein shake or bar after but i don't really feel like doing it.

wed. night race:
this involved 20 other guys trying to rip my legs from their sockets usually the best workouts of the week though.
31 miles on the bike
1200 calories burned
average heart rate 156
nasty fast pace with hard attacks

Yaaa-hoo! I went running last night and was able to maintain a steady jog for nearly an hour! A few more times out, I may actually run!

Yeah, the food binging... I'm a fan of fruit smoothies. Frozen peaches and raspberries and some OJ and some milk. Fills me up and has just enough sweet and fatty (from the milk) to satisfy the craving.

Did 1 hour with the weights last night. Hit the elliptical machine for 20 minutes and burned 250 calories. Then 20 minutes on the bike for another 175 calories.

I notice that I am sleeping better at night, waking up easier in the morning, and tend to have more energy during the day. Anyone else noticing increased energy levels?

Some days yes, some days no. Today is a no. Thus, only 1 set done. *sigh*

30 minutes on the elliptical, biking to work, and then working tonight.

Not really, but that's probably related to the fact that I don't sleep enough.

Went for a 1.5 mile walk. I'd do more but exercising aggravates my headaches so until I get that under control I have to take it easy. I didn't give in to the chips today though! Woohoo!

went for 24 miles on road bike yesterday medium intensity since i raced wed. i am at 120 miles since monday

then promptly came home and ate 1/2 gallon of rainbow sherbert and got a well deserved belly ache. i buy the sherbert because it is fat free and staves off my ice cream addiction. i actually still lost a little weight from yesterday morn to this morn but that will screw up my blood sugar levels which doesn't help my general health. all the binge talk on the board i guess i need to confess this break down. worste of all is the weekend is coming and i know it will be happening again probably saturday.

Well, you guys should be proud of me. I went to the grocery store today and bypassed all the bad stuff. I didn't get any chocolate, candy, or chips!! I'm amazed at my self control. This is a time for celebration. I'm gonna go treat myself to some water...ah, the joys of dieting;)

Great willpower Persephone736! I have not been as strong, but I have taken a vow w/ my wife to lay off junkfood for the next three weeks to see what kind of impact it has on my weight loss and toning.

That's awesome Persephone736! Give temptation the

I've been doing this for over a month, and certainly have noticed positives. It takes a while to get used to, but well worth it!

Did 1 set plus some more pushups and such to balance the rollerblading. Did a truncated version of the normal route due to that fact that it had rained shortly before I went. So, about 8 km this time with not as much "pushing" as I'd like.

The reason was that water, plus asphalt equals slippery. Those steep inclines with mud on them wasn't terribly fun either.

But, I didn't fall or anything, so I can't really complain much

Keep it shiny everyone
