I am not interested in tongue, lip or "other" piercings, as they kind of muck me up when I'm trying to kiss someone. I'm always afraid of getting caught on it somehow. (Actually, that happened to a girl I knew once. Her boy-toy's tongue piercing got caught, uh, on a sensitive area and he could have done her serious injury if he hadn't realized it and...gently...untangled himself.)
No real problem with piercings as a rule, but the ear still makes the most sense to me.
Side note; can't get pierced myself. Tried with the ears. My body treats any unknown object as an infection or something. My earlobe swelled up so much so quicky that it literally almost popped the stud out, and I still have a spot of scar tissue that can be felt in my left ear almost ten years later. Price for highly sensitive systems, I suppose. I try to make up for the beautiful earings I can't own with my large collection of rings and necklaces.
I love cuddling. I can cuddle for hours. My favorite part of watching movies is more often than not the cuddling that can be done. I love touch. I just can't get enough. Though of course there's the point that's been made of making sure to be comfortable so nothing falls asleep, and adjust as needed
Actually, one thing about my ex was that he couldn't just lie there cuddling or he would eventually fall asleep. No matter the time of day; hold still too long and he fell asleep. We still had good cuddle-sessions, but there were times when I would have loved to just spend a whole day (or most of it) lying in bed snuggling and... doing other things.
The topic of sleep after sex and such, which I have already commented on, made me think of something else, which is that it tends to take me awhile to fall asleep. I can't just roll over after a passionate encounter and sleep. If I do sleep fairly soon after, it's after adjusting several times and then lying there for awhile. Don't know why.

ok, so i have another little story to relate here... i'll try to keep it short....
Once, when i was living in Austin in an old neighborhood with a lot of college students, there was this one young lady who really liked her sex.. she was particularly fond of the afternoon delight form....so every day around 3pm, usually with a group of us guys sitting around on my porch, we were privileged hear the act in progress. Actually we really couldn't avoid it, because of the volume of her passion. This was the stuff of legend. The woman had some lungs...and stamina... and in the extreme throes of ecstasy she could hit some perfect high notes...quite lovely, really.
So one day a couple of us were talking to her extremely lucky boyfriend and we just asked him about the noise during lovemaking thing... he turned to me and said, no lie.. "I'm sorry, could you please speak up... I'm a little hard of hearing...."
rock on
Seriously? No way!
So I should qualify - communication with partner, good. Communication with neighborhood, not so much.

Had a girlfriend who at a time started laughing every time we started getting somewhere. Was a bit unnerving in the end, but it was just a phase that pasted.
And PhoenixRose, damn girl, why did yeah have to live a ocean away from me? Seem to have alot of good traits in my book.

I have to agree with you there. Much agreement. Damn expensive travel and passport/visa requirements!
Who has a Firefly?

tis all true... but she was cool with it and as far as the communication with the neighbors part, like i said, it was legendary.... so maybe not the greatest thing for the person in the immediate vicinity... the guy must have had to wear ear plugs at times....
really, no lie, i wouldn't make this stuff up....truth is stranger than fiction....

You know what I was thinking would be really shiny? (This is the kind of place my mind goes) If there were, like, phone booths-like transports on corners that said FFF.net on them, and you could just walk in, put in your password, and be transported to some central location (possibly a large, airtight instalation on the moon as there would be plenty of available space and no one could stumble across it) where you could meet and hang out with other browncoats. There could be a room for all the different forums here, and something like...large booths with the name of a thread hanging over them. Or something.
I know it's not very realistic, but I really wish it worked that way...
But hey, if you can get your 5" model flying, that'll be a start

Would be sweet to actually get to meet some of the people here. Soon however some of my buds will be pouring in on the site since we decided today to create a "browncoat chapter" here in Örebro, were going to have Shindigs and coats and the whole thing

Morning all! Wow I didn't feel like I'd been gone all that long but man do I have some catching up to do. So, for anyone interested in my experiment last night...
Boyfriend was already home when I got there, so I knocked rather than keying in so he would come to the door - as opposed to the usual walking in, saying hello from across the room, hanging up my coat, etc. Greeted him with a little smooch, and he asked what we should do for dinner. Moment of truth - I went on tiptoe, put my hand on his neck, and quietly asked him if maybe he'd rather have dessert before dinner for a change. I know it's cheesy! But, it did do the trick.
There was a little bit of an awkward moment then, standing just inside the doorway kissing, but not really moving forward... He wasn't saying anything so I'm starting to wonder, well, it's out there, now it's your turn. Then he picked me straight up in the air, which seemed like a great start, but just held me there for a few seconds, kissed me a few more times and then put me back down. I laughed and asked him if that was it. (Was that mean?) He picked me up again, carried me into the bedroom, and...
