Screw Ups in DVD series Trans

Just had to throw this out. Like the Firefly Talk podcast #7 points out, the DVD series when translated into Spanish competely screws up the whole language. This is what I hate about Translators because it is hard to find good Translation. Part of the mix up is that Translators have taken the trans lit: and also part of it is probably not familar w/ the culture. Harder here in the U.S. to screw up trans to Spanish, but possible as has been shown. Alot of fan dubs to anime and Japanese movies really screw up because they don't know the culture or how to relate it back to U.S. culture(case in point:Senpai-Kohai relation or giri). On the other hand a couple of mistakes are hilarious and kinda kul. Anyways feel free to comment!!! Thanks and keep having fun through language and culture!! Diversity its a good thing!!! (forgive screw ups in spelling etc)
