*Hearing Serenity's scream from the medbay Mai races down the hall and stops in her tracks at the door hearing her speak..

Safe's wandering brings him to the lounge. He spots Jack, Jazaf & Deuce sitting at a table quietly sharing a drink. He pulls out a chair and slumps into it.
Jack slides the bottle over to him. Safe catches the bottle, and pours two glasses. One glass he places in the centre of the table , the other he holds up and is joined by Jack, Jazaf and Deuce in a wordless toast. All four toss back the harsh liquid and lower thier glasses.
The bottle is passed around and all glasses are refilled, the fifth glass remains full and un-touched in the centre of the table. The wordless toast is repeated and the glasses are again drained.
Pretty soon, this silent ritual has gained the attention of the rest of the occupants of the lounge and it is not long before all join in with their beverage of choice.

*Serenity takes the bow and quiver from PR as Mai comes in. She lets Mai hug her, and has Mai pulls away, Serenity sits herself up again.*
Thank you, both of you. But I really want to be alone right now.
*She stands up, painfully, and shrugging off their attempts to help, begins making her way back to her room, clutching the bow and quiver to her as if her life depended on it.*

Jazaf puts a hand on his forehead as he remembers finding Soul. He hadn't been on the ship that long but the blow was just as hard.
'So gorram easy to get along with.' he whispered to himself.
He pushes himself from the table abruptly startling some, the others were too affected by the grief 'I.....have to .....meditate on this' was the only excuse he could offer before he stalked down the hall to his personal chambers. Maybe it was the liqour or maybe the loss, most likely it was both, but Jazaf couldn't help but feel upset at Soul.
He locked his door and used the last bits if metal in his room to form a stand-a-lone wall. After wrapping his wrists in cloth he began to throw his fists into the 2-inch think metallic barrier. Not caring who heard he also began throwing his questions.
'Why did you choose yourself?'
'Couldn't there have been another solution?'
'Why were you the only one to make the choice?'
After a few minutes Jazaf couldn't even feel his knuckles and the metal barrier only suffered minor dents, but his rage had been satiated. Once he recovered fully he got in his meditative stance and projected himself to his own little world.
A darkened figure stood there, waiting for Jazaf. It meant no ill-will and Jazaf certainly sensed no malice from the being.
'We', the figure started, 'have to talk.'
Several minutes later Jazaf came out of his meditation and headed for the door to join the crew for the rest of the wake. The figure's last words etched into his mind.....
'Tell No One.'
'I swear.' Jazaf said as he walked out the door.

*PR and Mai looked to Serenity, as she left. Both of them worried for her.*
*Then Monkeytail appeared.*
Hi...?
Are you...okay?
MT: This is the TREE, right?
Mai: Yeah.
PR: Most people are in the common room....saying there farewells...and...such.
*PR wandered off from the two, and into the common-room. He made his way to his own bed.*
*After what felt like an hour of not being able to sleep, PR got up from his bed, only wearing his PJ shorts, and grabbed a sleeping bag and left his room.*
*He could still hear some voices down by the bar, as he made his way up through the ship.*
*PR pushed open the door to the obeservatory lounge. The room was small, and had a dome-like feel to it. And most of the walls, were wide glass windows. It made PR feel like he was the snowman in a very small snow-globe.*
*PR looked out at the stars and whispered a few words for the departed soul.*
Now you belong to heaven, and the stars spell out your name.
*He knew that he would be able to find peace enough to sleep up here, so he rolled out his sleeping bag.*
And I'll make my bed, with the stars above my head...
