NC17 fanfic: How to take your characters from almost, to getting it on?

Anybody who's taken a walk on the dark side writing NC17 fanfic, can you give advice on how I can get "my" couple to couple? I've done about everything else with them solo that I can, but having real trouble taking them all the way.
It's for "The Measure of a Jayne," Part 5 (conclusion.) This ain't writer's block, it's writer's...inexperience? Please help if you can so I can get this thing put to bed. (lol.) Thanks.

ummmm... I don't know what the rules are on this sort of thing, but there's actually a fairly good webpage for writing...erotic fiction. Go to http://english.literotica.com/stories/stories_by_category.php?category

This page is the How-To section of a great forum for erotic fiction. It has a LOT of great suggestions for writing realistic erotic scenes and encounters. The whole goal of this section of the page is to help writers write better sex scenes.
On a side note, we need more people to submit their NC17 fan-fic to Literotica.com's Celebrities category. We have ONE story! Just one more outlet to find more converts to the Cause.

Heck, just rough draft it! Get your ideas out first and then give them structure. Get as much down as you can and then start editting cut things here, embellish there. You have the deed, and the characters. include lots of modifiers, particularly adverbs. If in doubt remember to answer all the basic questions: who, what, why, when, where, and how. There is a lot of stuff in your head make sure that you get as much of it on paper as you can. There's nothing worse than a writer who assumes that the reader can read his / her mind. You may think you are taking too long and dragging things out, this isn't always the case, the devil is often in the details. A police officer can write a three page report about a car acccident that occured in less than twenty seconds. It take a lot of words to describe something as complicated a sex. You don't have to take it chronologically. With a rough draft you can start with the cigarette and fill in the blanks up to that point. Remember the more foreplay the better and don't be afraid to go inside the characters heads. Be a sensuous writer by describing how things smell, taste, feel, sound, and look. Your characters are human so describe them as such, add a scar here, a quirk there. Don't make everthing too smooth and perfect, sex almost never is, that why everyone keeps practicing.

Hey Frycook? I registered as an author on Literotica.com, went to the Celebrities page and posted just the juiciest parts of The Measure of a Jayne, ( http://www.fireflyfans.net/sunroomitem.asp?i=5693 , starting where Kaylee peeks down into Jayne's lair) but I don't think the site is gonna accept it. They have an editor who approves stuff before it goes live, and the small print on the page said submitted fic might not fly if links to other sites are offered.
And I DID offer a link to fff.net so as to keep us flying, as you recommended. We'll see. Sigh. Editors can be so capricious.
Thanks again for the link. The "how to" on writing kink was a big help to me. Know what else? One of their highest emphasized points turned out to be exactly what I was already doing: using 5 senses to describe the action. I felt so proud!

Well, if you have to take off the link, take off the link. That's life, and I can see why they don't want outside links on their site. Didn't know that, though, and it's a good note to all who might (SHOULD) submit their writings in the future. Once you're a posted author, there might be some sort of profile you can add information to, and they might let you put links there. I would check for you but I'm on the family computer right now, and that could be akward.
