In a truly amazing outing from Doug Petrie and (I dread saying this) Marti Noxon, Buffy season 7 officially heads down the path to best season ever.

Bring on the Night is a truly excellent episode, and I'd even say it's the best plot-centric Buffy episode ever (yes, possibly even better than "The Gift")

Now for the spoilery speculation...

Anyway... did you all notice that the demon Willow was possessed by momentarily was the spitting image of Angel's big bad? Wanda says the plots for the season are related... perhaps this is the first manifestation of that claim.

Also: Will Willow and Kennedy have a little something something going on this season? Seems the seeds for romance have already been planted! God... I'm sensing Willow/Kennedy spinoff. Now THAT would be amazing.

Finally: More slayers-in-training are comming to Sunnydale! I can't wait!

The First did the same thing at the end of "Amends" in Season Three. I'm pretty sure it looked the same as it did then.

Anybody have the episodes to compare?
