Hey Tray. I'm a fellow Browncoat from the area. In fact, I helped to organize the shindig that happened August 13th. Too bad you weren't in town when it happened, but there's going to be something planned for September 30th. I don't know what yet, but we know for sure we're seeing a movie that day. 
Check out the Canadian Browncoats website and group when you get the time. There's also a forum for shindigs so check it out every once and awhile for info.

no problem ness, i've already joined. i'll take the time to introduce myself properly soon, we have a couple big tests and inspections on the go right now though, so it may (or may not) be a day or two before i can sit down and play with my computer for awhile. :)
