just writing my first post here, although i've been watching the site for well over a year now. i was simply wondering how many canadian, or better yet (seeing as it's a little closer to home) albertans or calgarians are on this site. much as i'd love to get to meet all the fans at a convention, i'm just never going to get paid enough at what i do to travel the way i'd like to. :)

thank you, good to know there's a few of us out here somewhere! i'm always mentioning our show, but not many people i talk to have even heard of it usually, so it's a real uphill battle finding "smart" people like us... :)

Yeah, I know what you mean. Anyway, on the Canadian Browncoats yahoogroup, http://www.yahoogroups.com/group/canadianbrowncoats I think a few Calgarians are in the process of organizing a shindig, so if you're interested might be a chance to meet fellow fans in your area.

Is it bad that I'm a Canadian who's going to attend the premier in a (southern) U.S. state?

No need to be loud, but always be Proud.

Oh no!

Tray, you just missed a shindig.

Our Calgary members just had one the day you posted (Aug. 13).

Hopefully you can make it to the next one.

For other Canadians, there are shindigs happening in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Edmonton ...

Our group link to join is below. We have 344 members now across Canada. AND, we are mentioned in the new spot for Serenity being shown in theatres called "Inside Serenity".
