Thank you!

And I certainly hope so. Don't like it when unsavories take things I like to wear and make them into symbols of their fashion waywardness.

We have a version of Chavs here in the south. Only here they're called several not-nice things: rednecks, white trash, etc.

What does chav stand for?

Chav =
Council Housed And Vile,
Council Housed And Violent,
Completly Horrendous and Vile...

The word chav is commonly thought to be from the mid-19th century Romany words chavi, meaning "delinquent youth", "chavo", meaning child and possibly "charver", meaning prostitute.

It's okay, Citizen. I don't really expect anyone to. I just thought it was very funny.

It refers to the language of flowers and how each flower means something: "I love you" or "be mine" etc. Well, Nicholas' mother was receiving vegetables thrown over the wall by some crazy old man who was trying to woo her. She is considering whether she should form an attachment to him when Nicholas says the line below. I laughed so hard at the idea that giving someone a cucumber could mean that you were in love with them that I just had to use it as a signature. It makes me laugh, and that's all I really cared about.

Ahhhh. Cool. There is a (now that I understand) amusing quality about it.

I thought it might be a jibe about vegetables having a small vocabulary or something. That wouldn't be fair, they have problems, lack of mouths, no opposable thumbs, they do their best tho.
