Enterprise Finale

Havent seen it yet but am curious to know what people (people who liked Enterprise) thought of the finale?
Did it end well?

Its 3 episodes and only 2 have screened.

It has aired somewhere already. Treknation has it showing an airdate of 13/5 and the episode is already online.

The high point for me was the last few seconds hearing Patrick Stewart's & William Shatner's voices....
You know? I kind of resent this attitude from the producers that the fandom is tired of Star Trek because they didn't watch 'Enterprise', it is like they don't even consider the concept that they came up with lame plot lines, and badly developed characters with dull dialogue.
I'm sorry to be so harsh about the show, believe me, I watched the whole thing; but blaming the fans for the show's demise is worse than providing us with a show that never lived up to the franchise.

I thought the two-parter (with Paxton and Terra Prime) was a far better finale.
The actual one just seemed like someone's fanfic. Good fanfic, admittedly, but not really connected to the Enterprise I've been watching.
Though, having that storyline play out as part of a (possibly innacurate) historical recreation did raise some interesting possibilities.

So, Trip dies non-sequiturishly on his way to Earth, after dealing with an Andorian who had previously faked his own death.
Anybody else thinking there was something fishy about Trip's death (and I ain't talkin' catfish)? Only people who would really be able to confirm it would've been Archer, T'Pol, and Phlox, all of whom are more than capable of keeping secrets. . .
Or maybe I just read too many historical conspiracy theories about faked deaths and hidden agendas.

it was a disservice to Enterprise to make it the second string story of the show. why couldn't they have just written a last episode? "Oooh, we should make it a TNG episode, poeple liked those."
Terra Prime was pretty good. They could have ended it there.

The episode was very bad. They didn’t tie up any plot lines, but there we’re no major plotlines left after last season’s finale and they tied up the few they made this season in all those two parters.
I think you could watch all the episodes of Enterprise except this one and you wouldn’t have missed anything. A very pointless episode with a very pointless death.

I know many here didn't like Enterprise (personally, I did enjoy it, although even I admit it was getting a bit, shall we say, less than exemplary).
Okay, that being said, the show DID last four years, and as such, should have at least been worthy of a decent sendoff. This was, without a doubt, the single WORST series finale I've ever watched, and I include the infamous "Seinfeld" finale in that group.
It was terrible. Even the cast found it bad (Jolene Blalock dubbed it "appalling"). I watched the final credits roll, with a feeling of "You've gotta be funkin KIDDING me!!"
The "tie-in" between Enterprise and TNG was handled in one of the worst Star Trek fashions ever, plus, they used an episode of TNG to tie in that was in itself pretty weak. Not to mention, the REASON they decided to tie it in (Riker needing to interact with the NX crew to see what decisions they made in various circumstances? Come on, folks...)... awful, just awful.
I would've been more satisfied if they had ended the series with just another run of the mill episode, like "Everybody Loves Raymond" is planning to do.
No, Enterprise was not up to par, but it definitely deserved better than it was given. Even "Angel" at least kept more or less in pace with the established story and characters. This just took a left turn and ran into a wall...
