I'm a relatively new convert to the Verse and I can't say anything other than give me more! I love it all and continue to mine the net for every of bit of tasty I can get my gorram hands on. I just watched the R. Tam Sessions which was quite an interesting gem to discover. Subscribing to both the FireflyTalk and The Signal podcasts keeps me fresh on all the new happenings. Fingers crossed for the big damn sequel!

I just want to thank everyone who has been taking the time to read and comment on my fiction "Nothin' In The 'Verse Part I". This is my first attempt at fan fic, and all the positive feedback means a lot to me! Someone commented that the chapters are too short - sorry about that. When I wrote it I just ended chapters where natural breaks seemed to fall. Some of the chapters are longer, so hang in! I can also post more at a time if necessary, but I don't want to post a bunch at once and be a board hog! Again, THANK YOU and I'm delighted that people are enjoying something I've written! :biggrin:

My Firefly OVC is shipping from the States. It's actually faster than waiting for the UK edition. How mad is that? There is a disinct possibility of two chapters at once on the horizon - they are being drafted and edited, and I am trying to work out the natural break. Hopefully something will be posted tomorrow (Sunday UK time) Of course, if when the OVC arrives, I find I am on the wrong track, writing will cease.

Well last night 8th September I fell at work and now have soft tissue injury on my left ankle, it's so sore. and today I sat down and watched two whole disc of FIREFLY to help with my painful ankle. And so i'm off for another day so, disc three and four will probebly be watched.

sofi is back! ok i can understand if you don't think it's *that* exciting news, so feel free not to cheer. to jog peoples memories i'm the one who did all the wash n zoe fanfics. i've been off on holiday for almost two months. one of these weeks was at a creative writing course so maybe my fanfics will have improved! we can only hope. while away i managed to convert two to the ways of the browncoats. i am proud. also, my boyfriends family and another family who we were staying with for 3 weeks are now accustomed to 'firefly' and 'serenity' being a household word and can even recognise quotes. =D i hope to maybe to post a new fanfic sometime this week, depending on how busy first week of school is (yes, i'm *still* at school. sigh) could you possibly draw my attention to particularly good fanfics/images i will have missed? anyway, am glad to be back, missed this site a lot.

Hello all! I just wanted to let you guys know that I've been warring with myself over where I'm going to go with this fic. I've had so many ideas, but they seem so trivial and like they won't live up to anyone's expectations (including my own). I've decided to take a break from writing this chaptered piece and just get on with writing one-shots again in hopes that eventually things will fall into place. I don't know if I'll come back to finish Cruel Summer, or if I'll end it here. I might just leave it alone unless someone can come up with a terribly compelling reason for me not to give it up. Input would be appreciated.
