Ok, now that I'm sane (more or less ;P) again, I thought I'd let everyone know that sometime in the near (maybe) future, I may be posting concept art of sorts from Pot23C (Pirates of the 23rd Century) It's mostly ships, cause I can't draw people for the life of me. A few weapons, too. I'm getting more and more ideas now, and I'm glad that my brain space is more or less infinite. And I saw V for Vendetta yesterday. Me likey. "Remember, remember, the fifth of November." Coolness. V had a very nice hat. Now, sleep.

Um, this is new and interesting. I've been in FF/S fandom for several months now, but this site has always seemed too big and decentralized, so I never joined. I still prefer LJ, but I suppose I'll be here a little bit more then. Um, yeah, that's all. :smile:

It's 5 a.m. and we just got back from a fun night on the town, never mind the fact that I didn't really want to go out in the first place. Anyway, the point is I may have potentially recruited 3 people to drag to the Serenity Cubed convention in London this September. Assuming I go. I'm pretty sure I won't have the money, especially if my plan of living on a beach in Hawaii this summer pans out, but that's what credit cards are for, right? I want to, but I'm not entirely sure I want to go by myself. I'm not opposed to travelling by myself because I do that all the time, but this could possibly be mildly intimidating. We'll see though. Runs off to bed for a couple of hours of sleep.

Just wanted to write a thanks to all those who constantly comment on my fics- Leiasky, Frelling Blonde, Miss Kitten, and as of late Blue Eyed Brigadier! When you write it feels so wonderful to have people enjoy your stories! I felt horrible when I couldn't post for a week, the damn phone company screwed up and I was without internet access for about seven days!!! But you guys stuck with the story and so I was just giving you all a big hug!:biggrin:

I still haven't heard back from the comic guys...so I've been working on some drawings for the virtual firefly yahoo site...and I've been putting together a sample portfolio to send out to the comic book companies..I'll try going in the front way and see what happens...I also posted a sketch book page of my Angel warm up sketches just so you all can see what's been keeping me busy for the past few weeks...and a shout out to all who took the time to give me encouraging comments..what ever they decide you guys rock....

So I'm watching "War Stories" for the umpteenth time and I get to wondering, was there an actuall Shan Yu in history? So I Google "Shan Yu" -- and nearly die laughing. At the top of the list I get Disney's Shan Yu -- villian in the Mulan movie. Think maybe Joss was poking fun? Can you think of anything more un-Disney than FF?
