As a newer author here, I got hit by the big hack job last year, which was such a tragedy. [Thanks Haken for this site and everything you did to recover as much material as possible.] I'm finally going to slowly reintroduce the few fics I had up originally before adding the ones I've written since. So if you see anything in the first 5-6 stories and wonder, you may have read it before.

apparently i'm illiterate found out this today after some more "educated person" the type who think that reading childrens novels is cool, and frequent a certain uk website I have mentioned before, told me that only people with a basic grasp of english may post on their site.Well that counts me out ,and apart from that I was having such a great week getting in touch with nature .Anyhow this site is now my spiritual home and all my love goes out to you guys

I'm working on a board game. I'm studying video game design, which has it's roots in board games, so that's where I'm working at the moment. I've already done a Serenity game, so now I'm working on one based in the DC universe. Anyway, my question. What is the purpose of a hero's life? Most of what they do is reactionary, which means that there is no goal other than to stop other people's goals. They exist simply to endure. I actually had the same problem with the Serenity game I made. Mal has no clear goal, so I had no clear ending for the game. In this case, though, there's not even a way for different superheroes to compete with each other. At least in the Firefly 'verse, there's money to be made. My ultimate goal here is to come up with an ending for the game, but the underlying question is still the same. What do heroes strive for?
