It seems kinda strange that I've never actually signed up for this site, since I've watched the show when Space first started airing it....Meh......hmm...well....Yeah, I gots nothing else to say.....so this is a rather pointless entry..... hears that awkward little cough that inevitably comes from the crowd of onlookers  well I'm..just..gonna go...away now.......

I went to lunch today in Old Sacramento with my mom. We went to this bar and grill place called Fat City, and as we were being seated, I notice that the place had an over abundance of Tiffany light fixtures, and I thought to myself, Nishka would love this place. Seriously, two days in a row now, weird right?

Sorry for everyone who thought this was a blog about simon and kali but instead it is about Simon and River's parents. I just can't stop thinking about how funny it would be to see thier parents on board Serenity. If it's to convince Simon to turn himself in or to retrive River either way would lead to laughs. Any way who else will be watching Joss on Veronica Mars besides me.

Today I feel pretty mighty. I'm 26 and I finally have decided it's about time I do what makes me happy. Tired of working the filing phone jobs I seem to end up with. It was fine when I was 22 and just out of school. But the condescending looks got old about a year ago. I didn't get a degree in Mass Comm to get the coffee for the office. Time to stop doing what I need to do and get to doing what I want to do. I just wish I could find someone who appriciates and can use my brain. On the bright side I am including my wardrobe in this. I don't shop as malls as a rule, I do not buy clothing unless it matches something I already have. I'm frugal like my father, but fortunately I have my mom's taste. It's time to stop restraining taste and put a bit of a leash on the frugal. I got a velvet jacket last week that makes me look like a star. I love it. I don't want to conform though. I just want to look nice. In other words...for once, I am turning up the "what I want to do" side of life.

Wow, Christmas gifts for my parents are going to be a breeze this year. For years, I bought my dad a book by Dick Francis for his Christmas present. (Mr. Francis was always kind to publish at that time of year.) Dad always knew it was coming, but was still excited to get it, and then I would borrow it. Heehee. Anyway, Dick Francis retired a few years ago and I've had a very hard time finding something as fun to give my dad. I called my mom the other day and asked if Dad had enjoyed the Firefly DVDs they'd borrowed from me (they gave them to me 2 X-masses back). "Oh, yes!" she replied. "Maybe I should get him the set for Christmas." Ah-ha! I told her she couldn't do that and, being the smart mom she is, she let it go. You see, I'd already ordered the Firefly set for Mom (should be getting here Monday). Well, change of plans. Firefly is going to Dad and I just ordered Serenity for Mom. Yay! I'm done. :) Weeheee! (I hate shopping, so this is bliss!)
