Today is more of the same old same old here at work. At least the idiots are in hiding this week! :) For that I am glad. The kind of work that I do is tedious and has a specific deadline. After the deadline, things are pretty mellow until the beginning of the next week. So today, I'm catching up on paper work, working on a RPG that I am a part of and just plane lounging around. Unfortunately, I'm still board. So I just thought I would blog about it. I've also realized that no one gets me around here. I don't think that there is anyone who is so obsessed with things as I am. Most people are normal and don't just love one or two things. It's good to know that other parts of the 'verse have people who are just as obsessed. Here's to another day of fun-filled paperwork! (raises glass for toast) Who's with me?

...Finished "Reunion" quicker than I would have thought. Don't really plan on writing anything more for a while, with my senior year of college starting and everything. Turned out a little better than I expected - I was worried I had all these scences that didn't fit together, and I seemed to be able to make it flow decently.

So the on-going drama in my latest blogs involved me trying to get into this Creative Writing class offered by my university. I submitted a portfolio at the beginning of August though I have to admit I thought I had little chance of getting accepted. And then, what do I find in my junk e-mail box today but an e-mail from the prof saying I made it in. Good thing I checked my junk mail. :blush: A list of accepted students was supposed to be available yesterday and I had been phoning the English department constantly to see if I had made it. Of course, every time I phoned I got a recorded message saying the lady who answers the phones was away from her desk. I guess they like keeping the students in suspense. Gets the creative juices flowing. "Did I make it? Did they hate my writing? Did the prof laugh when she saw my stuff?" What a way to end the month. Now I got to rearrange my schedule but at least the waiting is over. :biggrin:
