I bought Finding Serenity: Anti-heroes, Lost Shepherds and Space Hookers in Joss Whedon's Firefly. I have read a few of the essays, and they are very interesting perspectives on Firefly. They are really interesting because the essays were written before the release of Serenity. I would recommend the book to any Firefly fan.

JOSSISAGOD

I just can't take it anymore! My Document Processing course is FREAKING killing me! I've put in nearly five hours a day for a week and a half(after doing two or three hours a day for a week and a half) and I'm getting nowhere! This class must DIE!!! I once again tried to explain this to my parents who aren't taking the course so, naturally have NO CLUE what they're talking about, and they once again blew up at me questioning how hard I've been working! I however am questioning why I'm taking a course that has no baring on my current certificate! Thanks for letting me vent. JOSSISAGOD

Happy Birthday to me. I'm 21 today. I got £105, a key with 21 on it and driving lessons. So look out pedestrians I'm learning to drive! Also Happy birthday to John since we are twins it's his birthday to. My muse has obviously taken a vacation somewhere warm and sunny without me. I itch to be doing more than I have been. Even though I've been doing something with Photoshop on a pretty regular basis, it hasn't been keeping me busy on my long nights off. If anyone has a banner or avatar they want made or edited, let me know. If anyone has a Firefly theme they want to see made into art, let me know. If anyone has a favorite song they want made into art, let me know (this one is tricky; I can't always do it) Anything else anyone needs edited, cleaned up, made, whatever... I need stuff to do.

here it is done in compleat secrecy - me and my team of higly talented kidnapped science fiction writers are working on the 4th and dare i say it most magnificent episode to date. it is so secret that even i who wrote (well dictated to a scriptwriter who was tied to his desk by heis beard) am not allowed to know what happens in the final chapter (which has made writing it so challenging. however for you faithful fans who have enjoyed my fan fic sereis and the majority of you - i can divulge that it is a crossover but have refused to state of what.

Also- tomorrow we watch Safe and discuss the concept of manufactured family:)

So, my teacher for my english class didn't show up today. -_- That's so rude. That's one of my pet peevees. I hate being late and I especially hate being kept waiting. Even more so when I don't like it when my teachers are late because i'm paying for the class. We waited for him to show up and he didn't. There's a rule, 15 minutes, if the teacher doesn't show up, you're allowed to leave without getting into trouble. So me and a bunch of other kids left. Now, if this was the first time this happened, it woudln't be such a big deal, but it's not. He's been late before and it's begining to get annoying. I get there early to be early for class, and he doesn't show up. I don't reall mind missing the class. I learned all the stuff in high school, so i don't have to worry too much. It just still bothers me. This is kinda sad that all i do complain on this thing. If something good comes up, i'll mention it. Right now my life is pretty dull.

Okay, so today I managed to add the grand total of two animations to the blue sun room :smile: Ahhh, the joys of being back in the animation game... oh how I missed it! I also went a little crazy the other night and created a bunch of 70x70pix avatars. Not animated, just simple images I thought would be handy for posters who want an avatar with a difference. They're probably pretty similar to ones that have been used before, but they're still nice and small while being large enough to show a clear image. All of these can now be found on the avatars page on my site. There's a link from the home page - www.desktophippie.com - in the recent news section on the right. The avatars are free for all to use.
