Bloody Mouse...
Tuesday, 28 March 2006 00:00:19

So, yesterday was the last straw with regards to my mouse. I click a link and get not the one requested popup, but upto five or six. It is truly agravating when you have to copy/paste things. Try highlighting something, get to the the full area of what you want to copy and then a click happens (that you didn't click) and you lose the highlighting of what you wanted to copy. So, you try again, and again, and... Arrgggghhh! So, hoping that it's the mouse and not the machine, I unplugged that one and plugged the one button apple mouse in. And for a straight day, nothing bad has happened. So, it was the mouse. It now lies on my floor waiting to be desposed of. Though, now I feel naked. No right button, no scroll wheel. Just isn't right. So, next time I go into the city, I think I'm going to pick up a Mighty Mouse! Anyone have any experience with it? Pros/cons? I'm kind of picky about the stuff I use.

Just a shoutout to my favourite Captain, hoping your birthday is shiny! In other news, I have, as of today, officially worked for the same company for 10 years now. The good news being I get 5 more days of holidays a year now! Yay Me! In other Other news, I actually wrote a couple of paragraphs on my shiny yellow writing tablet today... it's not much, but it's a start!

Hello fellow firefly fanatics! Although the first time i even heard of firefly was from my friend Garrison in 2004, i never really gave it a chance until I saw Serenity. That movie was the best movie ive ever seen. So I gave firefly a chance. It turns out that the show blows the movie out of the watter. And just recently I was on one of my obbsesive searches on google. This time I searched for firefly. The first thing that poped p was this website. So thats why i'm here. But back to firefly. I was so dissapointed when, right after I first watched the DVD and fell in love with the show, garrison told me that this show wasn't on anymore i felt like........ :hanged:. Well until next time :finger: Malcomreynoldsisgod

this thought just popped into my mind...would Jayne and Saffron make a good couple...cause seriously he is not the brightest guy in the world and she is pretty intellegent so that is a good match there they even eachother out and they are both likely to betray eachother for money so they would make a great couple really. and he would not even have to trade Vera for her...though the relationship probably would not last long would it...since she would probably betray him to his death or vise versa.

Lil Browncoat
Tuesday, 28 March 2006 15:48:30

Driving home from work last night, my Lil Cherub pointed to a pedestrian wearing a long brown wax coat/duster. She said "He's got the same coat as you, Daddy. Maybe he likes Firefly too!" I was all choked up!

the pain spreads

It's a familiar story, but this is the first time I've been the one telling it, so here goes... I've been lending my Firefly DVDs to a co-worker, and I brought in the fourth and left it in his office this morning. (After discs 1 and 2, he didn't seem sufficiently addicted to buy the set himself, so I decided to lend all four.) He just stopped by my office to say he watched the whole third DVD in one sitting, cause he couldn't wait to save it for his treadmill time like he did the first two DVDs. Could I please bring in the next? I said, the next is in your office. He said, Yeah, thanks, but the one after that? I delivered the bad news and there was that look of pain and disbelief, followed by the need for clarification, (Only four? really?... really?), followed by the sharing of bad news with his wife (who also works here). Poor guy.
