Not getting very far

I think I've begun to bore people with Masks. I had never intended for it to be this long, nor this slow, but it sort of wrote itself into this piece where there's lots of character bits held together by a plot, and I'm not sure that anyone's interested any more. There is going to be action - some of it's already written - but I'm wondering whether to just end it and begin something else. Probably just a bad day - work has been hard, and my home life even harder, so I guess I'm feeling down. Doobie do, down, down.
