This is only a test. *beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep* Okay. Per a couple of requests, here's a quick teaser scene from The Old That is Strong, Book V: Ships That Pass in the Night. Four out of five doctors agree that feedback is a quintessential supplement to the heart and soul. ********** "Tell me something, Commander." The smile on Mal's face was familiar to Harken: he'd seen it before when Mal first tried to convince him there were Reavers about. "The names Wilberforce Rogers and Brian Connelly mean anything to you two?" "I can't help but wonder how those names are so familiar to you, Sergeant," Harken said quietly. "And bein' that I never personally crossed paths with those two, I'm compelled to ask what all four of you have in common." "How about the time we all fought a war against a band of malcontent ingrates, and won?" Haymer said emphatically. "How about we get more specific on that one?" Mal pressed. "All four of you tried to kill Ray Corsetto. Not a one of you knew it at the time. Two of you wrecked a couple o' his ships, and the other two laid waste to his ground. But the man's got into a mighty uncanny habit of survivin' whatever gets throwed at him. You expect to get through this, best get hopin' you're ready to deal with him, 'cause it's eight to five he's ready for you." "You're sure of that, are you?" Harken's eyes narrowed. "Colonel Haymer, would you like the honour of telling Sergeant Reynolds how ready we are?" "Of course," Haymer said. "Thanks to you, Sergeant, much of the system is now acutely aware of paxilon hydrochlorate and the effect it can have. Granted, given its purpose, the G-twenty-three formula was a failure. But the pax still exists in a few different formulae, one of which is now known as paxilon-J. It has an effect on a person similar to the G-twenty-three, only considerably more severe. It renders coma within minutes, and eventually, as it slows cerebral, respiratory and pulmonary activity, a long and unpleasant death." "However, it's yet to be tested on a human being," Harken said, pacing ominously closer to Mal. "So we'll leave you now to consider which of your crew will be the first guinea pig. You'll understand if we want to ensure that Captain Corsetto doesn't survive what we throw at him this time." **********

Sorry it's taken me so long to post back here, this week has been absolutely insane and well lets just say I woke up with a bit of a headache this morning. I got a call back about my shoulder and it turns out that the MRIs didn't show anything that wasn't normal. They want me to go back into physical therapy but I seriously don't think I can take anymore of that. I'm only 18 and I've been in physical therapy for years. I'm just done, I can work through it myself and just deal with the pain. My freshman showcase for theatre ran this week and it went awesome! Our scene was the most loved by the audience and i got so many compliments! I really feel like I've found where I belong and that I have a future in the showbiz industry... Hey who knows, maybe one day I'll get to act with our BDHs. In other news... SOCON Refs SUCK! We lost to Georgia Southern yesterday 35-38 and we have video proof of about 15 bad calls, two of which resulted in GSU scoring touchdowns. Gah! I just want to know how much they were paid to throw the game against us?! alright that's all for now, I have two tests to study for... GoddessWarrior Signing Out
