Halo 3

i don't know if this has been discussed yet or not,but is any other 'coat out there playing thru Halo 3? has anyone noticed any thing familiar? here's an exerpt from the Nathan Fillion wikipedia entry: "Fillion has a part as a Marine in the Xbox 360 game Halo 3, this can be heard around 35 seconds into a GAMERSYDE video (GC07 Gameplay Singleplayer Video part 1). [14] He is joined by his Firefly co-stars Adam Baldwin and Alan Tudyk in this capacity as a voice actor. At one point early in the first mission, he identifies himself as "[Sergeant] Reynolds" over the radio." not only that, but hearing Adam Baldwin as a marine in the game is just damn cool,i kid you not,in the heat of battle,i hear in Adam Baldwin's voice "Heeeere's Vera!!" shiny tears of joy i tell you all, tears of nerd joy.

my birthday is this sunday. my "friends" wanted to take me out for the weekend and celebrate which i was all ready for. then i found out the other day that 2 out of 3 "friends" didnt want to do it anymore because they didnt want to leave their spouses for a day and a half. these are people that ive open my heart to which i dont do very often for fear of being burned. and what happened...i got burned again. it doesnt matter that i befriended them when they were lonely and took care of them when they were sick and called everyday to see if they needed anything. not to mention threw one of them a birthday party because she was alone. also threw friday night parties were i was the one doing all the cooking and cleanup. i also introduced them to Firefly. what can i say?? i am hurt. why do i choose friends who are more selfish than me?? this is why i dont make friends very often because most of them are selfish bitches who only think about themselves. i hope they all get herpes. as you can see im still pissed.

Why do I always fall in love with cancelled shows???

When I discovered "Firefly" it was too late. Several years too late. To my defense I have to say that I live in a small European country where the tv channels never show anything but the biggest and worst of the American shows (or reruns from the eighties). Thanks to Internet I discovered "Firefly" eventually and fell in love. The same can also be said about "Carnivale" - one of the most beautiful and frustrating tv series I have ever seen. That one was of course also cancelled :( And now when I have found another tv show that I totally love - "John From Cincinnati"... What happens? They cancel it! Grrrrrr!

My Semi-Famous Morning...

So this morning, I worked as a background extra on a TV drama. I'm not going to say which show it is because I'm not a fan of it, but I know there may be people here who are fans of the show, so I'm not going to cause any controversy. ("Firefly" puts this other show to shame. 'Nuff said. ...
