Well, I just finished up another year of youth group at church. I am a youth minister and I just finished up another year. I have to say that I'll be making many changes to make things better. If anyone would like to pray for me please do I know I can use them.

Just wanted y'all to know. Got fasterfox, yeah! Has helped some. UltraSentry, unfortunately didn't do much. But I downloaded the trial version of CounterSpy. It found 2 trojan fake alerts,75 mywebsearch, funweb products and a couple of other things. It's still slower than normal, but better than it was. Thanks y'all! I knew if I asked here, I'd find answers! Edit- I went to add some pics to my files and there are no files! All of my pics are gone!

I'm back. I'll have to move, and then I'll have to move again. Ah...the sweet military life. Iraq was fun. You know, like being kicked in the shin repeatedly for months is fun. That kind of fun. So, I return to a closing base. I don't know where I'm headed off to. But, who knows? You could wake up one day, look out your window, and see thatweirdgirl and manwithpez! Kinda like one of those Burger King commercials. Creepy.

I'm very new to this, so please don't think I'm an idiot. I bought the Firefly series on DVD last October just to see what it was all about. I wouldn't watch it when it was on TV because I was in mourning for Buffy and Angel. I didn't know what the hell I was missing out on!!! I can say that the money I spent on Firefly (followed the next day by Serenity) was the best 50 bucks I ever spent! I thought that maybe I was a little crazy with my new obsession, as I never spent time on the internet. When I did and found this sight, I was amazed. There are others out there just like me!!! So either we are all crazy, or Firefly was a life changing event for us all. Thanks for letting me rant!

So i'm new to this site and I'm completely lost. Am not a usually computer geek, so a lot of this is new. Anyways about Firefly, I just watch the 2 dsk of the series and OMG, my absolute favorite. All the episodesare worth at least 3 watches. So i'm trying to figure out this site. and "this must be what it feels like to go mad."

Stories Stories Stories. There are so many Stories I would like to tell. But there is this one about a One-eyed Bounty Hunter. Her name is Scorpion. And she ain't no Mary Sue. She's got real problems- including an overactive libido,no past,several ghosts haunting her-including Jubal early. Its entitled La Escorpion and I have been working on it for awhile now.And with the help of my beta Jetflair- I got better. But she has real-lifeitis now so i need to get a new Beta. I need someone with patience and with understanding.And someone who could guide me as well as help me edit quickly and efficiantly. Sometimes chapters flow from me and sometimes it'll take me a week to write. So what i am saying is i need help...or else i will go insane from lack of writing ..which is a short drive actually

For those of you who were wondering where I went, I didn't die! (Think about it, if I had died, would I be writing this? I don't think so) I know that I have been gone longer than I had advertised, and probably will not be on for at least a week after this. I will try to post tonight, but no promises. I have to write a paper. Anyway, just thought I'd fill everyone in. I miss you guys so much!

GOMITHROUS

So the end of the school year is approaching which means it's time for all hell to break loose! We recently (as a class) did a few bake-sales as part of a "Business and Stock Market Research" project, because aparently stock-brokers and baked goods are just [i]so[/i] similar. Anyway now we have to a self-reflection type report on the project. One of the questions for the report is "What have you learned about yourself over the course of this project?"... I'm sorry but we were selling f***ing cookies! Since when did anyone ever experience some sort of life-altering revelation because of a cupcake? I just found that report kind of stupid but it's not the worst of it. Our English teacher expects every assignment we do to be some sort of masterpiece and well, that's just not the way stuff goes all the time. So we have a big short story project to do. We have these Geography/IT presentation... crap due tomorrow! We have a health assignment due next week sometime which wouldn't be such a big deal if we didn't have all this other stuff to do. I'm pretty sure we have a Science test next week based on info from the entire year so I'm gonna have to study like crazy but I'm pretty good at Science and I enjoy it (unlike [i]everyone[/i] else) so I should do OK. Our music teacher is the best though! She's the one who I convinced to watch Firefly which she loved and watched with her husband. It turns our some of her friends are big Joss fans so she's gonna be borrowing Buffy and Angel soon. Our end-of-year Music assignment is awesome. You get to form groups and play whatever song you want with whichever instruments you want (I finally get to play my bass!). I'm in two groups, one with my girlfriends playing some song that has about 3 notes, pretty boring but they needed me and I'm there. My other group is a bunch of guys, which includes a very talented drummer and guitarist so that'll probably rock. One of my friends in the girl group is kiind of mad about me joining both groups but It's not a huge deal, I'm pretty sure she'll get over it (I really hope so anyway). On top of all of this most of our teachers hate us (our class can be so horrible so it's understandable). I tend to get along pretty well with my teachers so it's all cool. Our French teacher will probably give us something to do soon, because that would just be ever so covenient, I really don't like him he's just oozing with creepy vibes. In a couple weeks our school is going to camp so it'll be a much needed break from the madness. I just needed to get that off my chest, I'm not being the bratty little kid (at least I'm not trying) but it's just been kind of stressful at school lately and I had a bad day. I'm planning on doing some fic writing and actually finally learning a martial art (my dad is a martial artist) I also plan on learning spanish (again with the dad). I guess that's what summer's for. Ugh... I [i]really[/i] have to get back to homework now but I'll check back in on the boards later.
