I'm not really a preorder-kinda-gal. I can now say there are exactly 2 things I have ever preordered: The Firefly DVD set (ya know, the original, from TV) & The Serenity model (See the news on this site for details. Yay!!) I can't wait! The only bad thing is going to be trying to decide where it will go!

I've watched all the episodes and the movie countless times and I really really need more. I sit there during class thinking up new ways to get Firefly back. Most of which are totally insane and would probably never work. I'm totally obsessed. I relate everything (and I mean [i] everything [/i]) to Firefly/Serenity. I HATE YOU FOX :finger:!!! YOU'VE CANCELED MY TWO FAVORITE SHOWS EVER!!! (Firefly and The Inside). I think we should all boycott the FOX tv station until they bring Firefly back. :evil: hehehe. I will do everything I can to help bring Firefly back.

All is well in my 'verse...After a boring, [i] boring [/i] vacation (only made better by my excessive movie purchases- 80's horror is so amusing.....), I have returned to school back to my incredibly popular, beautiful and intelligent circle of blonde friends! .....the blonde part gave it away huh? No, actually, I got to mock the kids who finally saw Serenity over the break and were talking up about how they're its biggest fan and they know everything.....but they didn't know that Serenity was a TV show, or that Firefly is the type of ship, or that Shepherd Book is not Zoe's father (you laugh....but it's true. Disturbing, innit?) I must now retire to my lair of posters, to put up the Serenity poster I stole from the grocery store....... SHKG p.s. Does Anyone know how to create movie stills? If so, please reply with the information and I will be in your debt!

Because I hate myself and I need the extra work... So, I've had a new idea for a fanvid and it's going to take a LOT of extra work and planning, because it's a little more detailed that the usual vid. And... eesh. I should just quit while I'm ahead, but no... I have to make it hard on me. I finished the first part of it this afternoon. Which will, actually, turn out to be the last part once the whole vid is compiled, but it was the easiest and the one most sticking in my head. It's a character study (ish) of all the Firefly/Serenity characters. I'm going to do everyone, Mal, Zoe, Wash, Kaylee, Book, Simon, Jayne, River, Inara, Serenity. The one I did today was: Reavers. Fun, fun, fun. *head desk* Why do I listen to my head when it tells me this stuff?

It woulda fetched 15 maybe 25 thousand credits.I dont care if the owner was alive...I never reported this find to anyone so ...They wont know what I did... I had Booger fly close enough to the star so it would drag the derelict in...I cut it loose...I think to much money was made with that...Let it carry its ghosts home. I think things will get back to normal now. As if they ever was around here. I was thinkin bout askin the Cook ta marry me but Im gonna wait til this ...cloud passes. I swear that woman looks INTENSE wearin nothin but one'a my T shirts and a Tan...she goes walkin around looks like puppies fightin under a blanket...have mercy child......

A lot of fans have commented on how prolific I seem to be. All I can say is it's something that was drummed into me when I took advertising illustration and life drawing in my failed collage days.. The instructor would give us, like, five minutes to complete a drawing, and then critique us on how finished the drawings were. Conveying the whole picture in as little time as possible was what he was striving to teach us. And trying to get it done fast was about the only trick I picked up from the ad class..that and how different an illustration looks when it reduced for print. i.e. the blacks become blacker and the whites whiter. Thanks to all for the interest in me and my drawings.

RELFEXIVE

I survived. It wasn't totally overwhelming. I sat around alot, reading stuff on their intranet mostly. They have half-day induction courses for me on Friday and for four days next week. And another early next month. I'm sure it'll get harder as time goes on, though. They said it'd be at least a month till I got up to speed. Oh, and there's no internet access. I'm gutted.

HUMBUG

I read somewhere that Vera means Faith in Russian, so I though I'd investigate and see if that's true.. So I checked out www.behindthename.com..... Vera means faith or truth In Russian and summer in albanian! Ooohh! Do you remember Faith in Buffy???? And, of course, Summer Glau plays River!!!! Weird Whedon-verse coincidences........ *spooky* So Jayne, the big bad mercenary's weapon of choice is faith and truth!!! (Well, we've seen him pray, and he's befriended a Shepherd, and he mentions God......) And he's employed by Mal, who has forsaken his faith and won't allow God in his boat!!! Ironic!! I just love seeing these weird links between things. Jayne fighting with Faith and Truth!!!!! LOL It's Hi-larious as the big guy himself would say....... Anyone else noticed any strange conincidences in the Whedon-verse ??!!!!
