I read somewhere that Vera means Faith in Russian, so I though I'd investigate and see if that's true..

So I checked out http://www.behindthename.com.....

Vera means faith or truth In Russian
and summer in albanian!

And, of course, Summer Glau plays River!!!!

Weird Whedon-verse coincidences........ *spooky*

So Jayne, the big bad mercenary's weapon of choice is faith and truth!!! (Well, we've seen him pray, and he's befriended a Shepherd, and he mentions God......)

And he's employed by Mal, who has forsaken his faith and won't allow God in his boat!!! Ironic!!

I just love seeing these weird links between things. Jayne fighting with Faith and Truth!!!!!
LOL It's Hi-larious as the big guy himself would say.......

Anyone else noticed any strange conincidences in the Whedon-verse ??!!!!
