Kay... so, I wrote this book. Goin' on six months now, since I first started. It's done'n dead, It's wrote all up, all hundred and ten pages. First off, I was fixin' to write a novel- three hundred pages or so, ne? By the third month of four, they told me that I had a hundred page limit. Bastards. So, I had to change the plot from the crucial turning point and take out a good seventy-five pages already writ. I managed to get it done- albiet with an ENTIRELY different ending then I'd plan- guess I'll hafta write a sequel, eh? Yeah, I'm kiddin'myself, I know. Let a guy have his dreams! Now, it is May. They (Xlibris, the Publishing Co that no one can pronounce properly), said that the book would be out in May. It's May. I fail to see a book with my name on it in Borders, or on Amzazon. I think that they neglected to tell me'n the other authors about this lil' tidbit, eh? I have no CLUE when it comes out- just May. Maybe the middle. Maybe the 31st. Maybe it's already out, and I just have no sense of direction. But, I'm starting to think that there's an information gap here... Still, who am I? What right have I to know? After all, I only wrote the damned thing... Rants over, folks. Ya'll can leave the bomb shelters... ;) -Danny

I think I will be this way forever. Where is my prince charming? Where is the man that will complete me? Make me want to be a better person? Someone who values trust and communication and most importantly, humor? Someone who understands that I am tender hearted and too trusting. That I crush easily? Someone who is worthy of my trust and my admiration? Where is my happily ever after? My knight is shining armor?

My younger brother gets to drive MY car more than I do! How wrong is that? We spend $9000 on the car, an extra two or three grand on the modifications so that I can drive it with hand controls instead of pedals, and my little brother drives it to school every weekday, while I'm stuck at home doing nothing! Yes, Ladies and Gents, this is another Life Sucks rant from your resident downer of late, Jossisagod!

So, I had a Media essay due for today at 12pm that I've been avoiding like the plague all week. I'm not even exaggerating. I'd gotten to the point where I just didn't care about it at ALL, I didn't even care about passing the module, and at 10pm last night, I was debating just not doing it and handing it in next week. In which case, it would have been capped at 40%. Buuuut, I decided to give it a bash, and I just finished the thing about two hours ago, at 5am. It's funny, I didn't actually think I'd even be close to the end of it this night, but here I am! And the odd thing is - I still don't care. While I was writing, I was the most relaxed I've ever been about coursework, especially this close to the deadline, and I just thought "if it gets done, it's done, if it doesn't, oh well". My only complaint is the lack of sleep, but cest la vie. Damned B*Witched. Rise Against blog coming soon, now that I have time to write it!

Jumpin back onto the horse, so to speak, I decided to give another photography lab a "go". This time, I went earlier in the day, and to a nicer part of time (reflected in the price tag, isn't that shiny). I loved it. People my age (some nice lookin men into photography showin up at this place--woohoo! [ahem]) in a busy not desolate atmosphere where each person did his/her thing. Not once did I get that creepy "oh my god I might get mugged or worse" feeling. For those in NYC--PrintSpace on 19th street is worthwhile. **** PS-thanks to all who posted to my last blog. I appreciate the concern and the comments. PPS-out of curiosity, is there a way to see a list of the latest blogs by all members of the fireflyfans community...other than clicking on member name. Later gators

'Some people see things that are and ask, why? Some people dream of things that never were and ask, why not? Some people have to go to work and don’t have time for all of that…' -George Carlin (1937) Hi all, I just wanted to announce that ‘AT LAST’ my Firefly project is complete. (evil laugh) – Trust me. If you were here, the laugh would sound deep and maniacal. For the past 8 months (or so), I have been developing a firefly series of my own, called ‘FireflyFans: Top 10 List’. Its all in *.GIF format, with about 12 episodes in all. Don’t worry, there all relatively small in download size. I wont tell you all what the plot is about specifically (don’t want to spoil the surprise), but it’s a mix of writing and animation. I’m planning to post them via weekly installments ‘really soon’, though I haven’t quite figured out which day would be the best to post them. Any ideas?

So while I'm stuck trying to finish my thesis, I suddenly get a piece of exellent news. Some time ago I applied for a course in Russian. Its going to be in St. Petersburg in August/September, 6 weeks. I didnt get any answer from the people, so I sent them an email asking about when I might expect an answer. If i didnt get in I would have to apply for other things and/or a job *shudders*. So I got an email back saying that I had gotten an answer April 17th... hmm... no I didnt. The problem was that they had misspelled my email, but they didnt get a failure notice cause someone else has that adress. So everybody panicked, emails were sent to St Petersburg, visa papers were handed in.. I waited. The message I got was that I was in if the visa things went in order, and that wasnt guaranteed cause it now was so late. But yesterday I got an email saying it was all Ok...I can go!! I an frakking going to Russia.. I have wanted to go there ever since I took Russian in High School (maybe even before that). This is so cool. Now I can put of thinking bout "the real world" for just a little while longer.

I sat down today to start my assigment for my What is a Play module, to get it out of the way, since they've been very late in releasing the material. And I find that we are required to read the entire play, instead of just the extract we've been given to analyse. It doesn't sound too bad but they told us to buy all these play's at the begining of term, and we've only worked on two of them. Which means a waste of my money. Now we have to buy more plays. And that means more delays, waiting for them to be dewlievered, 'cos I'm not going to a shop to pay a tenner when I can get them for a quid online. It wouldn't be so bad if they were decent plays, but I hate Macbeth in year nine, and now I have to spend more of my money on a copy. And I just wanna get the damn thing out of the way. Do they think us students are made of effing money? Okay, rant over. Gonna order the plays and try to do as much of the analysis as I can now. Then, REVISION. Oh, my life is sweet.

So I had to work late yesterday, and today I had to be back at work early. I meant to set my VCR to record Nathan on Craig Ferguson last night, and I TOTALL FORGOT!!! As a matter of fact, the alarm went off this morning and the first thing I thought was, “You didn’t set the VCR!” If anyone made a copy and has the equipment and know-how to put it up on YouTube, could you please do that? Thanks, Phyre

I havn't been here in a long time. I guess at some point my attention moved onto something else. Not that I ever stopped loving Firefly, mind you. Anyway, I just wanted to share some exciting news with my fellow fans. My fiance and I are "tying the knot" this august. For the past couple weeks I have been searching for music to use during the processional, because I have decent sized wedding party, I need a few songs to give them enough time to get down to the altar without having to repeat any one song. I decided to use music from the Serenity soundtrack. The featured songs are "Rebuilding Serenity" "Prep for a Flight" and "Love." This should allot the perfect amount of time for my wedding party. Following those three songs will be the Cannon by Pachelbel as I walk down the isle with my father. I think it all goes together well. I especially love the music from Serenity.

All About Hives From Heather Brannon, MD, Your Guide to Skin & Beauty. FREE Newsletter. Sign Up Now! What Are Hives? The skin condition we call hives is referred to in medical terms as urticaria. A hive, or wheal, is a symptom of urticaria. However, most people do not develop one hive when they have urticaria, hence the name hives. Hives Location Urticaria is a common condition that can affect any person of any race at any age in any season of the year. It occurs in up to 20% of the population at one time or another. Hives can occur on any skin surface, but usually spare the palms and soles of the feet. Hives are classified as acute or chronic depending on the length of the episode. Dear readers, Please note above the statement that hives usually spare the palm of the hand and soles of the feet. I ask because once again I, ABBYNORMAL, have struck. I have hives on my palms, the soles of my feet, the outer edges of my ears, my Eyeball! My FREAKING EYEBALL! Who the hell gets a hive on the eyeball? I have hives in places that can not be named. Its not that I am ashamed to talk these places, I just don't know the gorram names for them! I have to go now. A vat of calamine had my name on it. :crap:
