So there I am, standing in line at Borders when I see it. The Serenity comic #1, Mal cover. I know that I've already ordered all 3 covers. I know that they'll likely arrive any day. So what do I do?

I walk over (almost run, to be honest) and snatch it up. I read it as soon as I got into my car, with a huge smile on my face. And boy, was it shiny!

Of course, the next day the comics arrived. But now I have a spare copy to show everyone!

I'm not obsessive, I'm dedicated, right?

Let's see...I'm 26, male, I listen to punk and I play paintball. Don't know what that says about me; I just like givin' people random facts. Also, my sister's name is Serenity. Really. Her middle name anyway. But I've been calling her that for many years now, even before I converted her. So I really can say my sister's a ship. And yes, we had a complicated childhood.

I live in a small town near Fredericksburg, VA, though I was neither born nor raised there. I came to Firefly from a love of Whedon's work, and have been hooked since "the Train Job" aired.
