I've been a fan of Joss Whedon's storytelling since, believe it or not, 1992. My wife and I went to see "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (the movie) the day that it was released. Although flawed, I understood what Whedon was trying to do and I've been hooked ever since. From Buffy through Angel to Firefly, Whedon is always thought-provoking, but never lets a message get in the way of a good tale. Firefly proved, to me, to be just the "shot in the arm" that s/f had needed for years.
