I, REAVER (A STORY IDEA)

We have all heard of The Reavers, the flesh-eating, skin-wearing, rapist cannibals from the show Firefly.

This story will explore a character who fought on the Alliance side of the Battle of Serenity Valley, and he is assigned on a mission to a planet which is god-knows-how long from where he lives, so he'll be alone on a ship with only a handful of food and some communication devices.

But, this guy has been afraid of The Reavers ever since he heard bedtime stories of them as a little kid, so understandably he is a little nervous when he finds out he is on course to their territory.

And when The Reavers come aboard his ship, oh boy, then the real story begins

Now, I have always wanted to write a story which explores the psychology of a villain and i think a Reaver would be the perfect opportunity for it.
